Herb and I just finished LARGE hot chocolates at Starbucks on Chicago avenue and Wabash avenue. Told them order was in the name of Mike but got Mark instead - must be the accent. Caught the bus and train this morning - that was not without some difficulty - CTA owe me $50!
Taxi from airport also a classic last night with Mark getting into the drivers seat - freaked the driver out but he had a laugh - good one Mark!
More and some pics later after we warm up as it is freezing. Will be wearing 2 sets of thermals tomorrow and Earmuffs for Dad and Dave and Herb.

Have been hanging out for this post and it was worth it.....the thought of Mark in the drivers seat cracked me up. That is a scene in a sitcom for sure - something Ross would do if he came to Australia! Mike, you'll never be allowed to live it down. Stay warm xx
ReplyDeleteDid you actually sit on the driver's lap, Mark? That would tend to freak one out, I imagine. Checked out the temps in Chicago at the moment....yes, brrrrr! Any snow yet?
